Here at Oskar Foxtrot we have been offering
fantastic opportunities to young people in Suffolk for seven years. This youth
theatre group was established in Stowmarket in 2001 by
father and daughter writing team Phil and Sarah Corbett, later joined by script
writer Andy Durham. Since then, they have written seven new musicals and have been
joined by a talented and dynamic team who assume different responsibilities.
We are currently in the process of staging our 2008 musical "Dunwich
- A Ghost Story". Both
the script and the songs are original works, by Andy and Sarah. There are
opportunities for youngsters both on and off the stage. We offer experience in a
variety of theatres and other performance spaces as Oskar Foxtrot goes on tour
with every production across the county.

Sarah Corbett is the musical director and composer for Oskar Foxtrot, responsible for the day to day running of the group. She is currently taking an MA in music, teaches singing and piano privately and runs her own drama school with husband Andy. I don't think she has time to sleep! |
Andy Durham is Oskar Foxtrot's scriptwriter and has provided us with many wonderful scripts since he joined the team in 2002. Andy is a part-time teacher of Media Studies at Copleston High School whilst also studying for an MA in creative writing at the University of East Anglia. |
Roxy Last has been band director and pianist for Oskar Foxtrot since "AD79" in 2002 having been a cast member since "Dr. Faustus". She is currently teaching singing at a local drama school and privately, as well as being TA at Barningham CEVCP School where she hopes to start training as a KS2 teacher. |
Sally Scurrell joins us as drama director and choreographer this year for "Dunwich - A Ghost Story". She has been working in the business for 15 years in both professional and amateur productions and currently teaches drama at drama schools across the county. |

Cliff Dix has been working with OFP since our second production "Beyond" and this year has taken on the role of Production Manager. With his years of experience and boundless knowledge of the theatre, we know we are in good hands. Cliff and his wife, Ann, run The Event Shop and Phosphene Entertainment Services. They are stars! |

|
Chris "Pudsey" Last is technical support and liaises with Phosphene about our needs and requirements as well as getting his hands dirty when it comes to setting up - he climbs scaffolding like monkeys climb trees! Chris is also a member of the band (who says men can't multi-task!). He is technical manager at Ipswich Regent (which is handy when we need something borrowing!), and has met many famous people! |
|
Gemma Clarke is invaluable when it comes to making show run smoothly behind the scenes. She is a demon with a screwdriver, and appears to be unflappable. She was also responsible for designing and producing our brilliant 2007 tour t-shirts. |
Phil Corbett is the lyricist for Oskar Foxtrot - he's a man with a bit of a way with words. He is head of Maths at Leiston High School where he also teaches psychology. He has also recently had his first book published. |
